Taste of Technology

Taste of Technology is designed to help our youth of all ages, from Elementary to College, learn about Technology careers so that by the time they enter high school and college, they will have already been exposed to Technology concepts. Although, parents are encouraged to attend with their children because they too need to be educated on the opportunities in Technology, we also have a Break into Tech workshop for the adults.

Students will go through a STEM challenge that will provide essential skills for young minds, such as critical thinking and problem-solving.

IT Professionals will be in attendance to inspire the next generation through their experiences in their careers. They will also facilitate hands-on and learning workshops in Cyber Security, Gaming, Coding, Virtual Reality, and PC Building. All areas of which have a variety of available career opportunities.

Technology organizations will be available to discuss their programs and offer the students and parents opportunities to further engage with additional workshops, training, and mentor classes. Some of them will also be leading the hands-on workshops.

The Taste of Technology strives to create opportunities for a great future in Technology for our youth.
